City and parks

The Lace Market has tall Victorian buildings and cobbled streets that look stunning in black and white, and Wollaton Park gives you a deer park and a sweeping Elizabethan hall a few minutes from the centre. Both are easy to reach between ceremony and reception.

Sherwood and north Nottinghamshire

North of the city the landscape opens into woods and farmland. I have photographed a wedding at Ollerton Pumping House in this part of the county, and you can see it on my Ollerton Pumping House page. Further north, in Retford, I have photographed weddings at The Sitwell Arms.

Plan the day around the city

City weddings run on timings: traffic, parking, church doors and room changeovers. I keep the portrait time short and flexible so a delay somewhere else never squeezes your photos.

Travelling here

I travel to Nottingham and across Nottinghamshire from Derbyshire. Travel depends on your venue, and I will agree it with you before you book.
