City centre and gardens

The Peace Gardens and Winter Garden give you fountains, glass and greenery in the middle of town, and the Town Hall behind them is one of the most photogenic buildings in the city. A little further out, the Botanical Gardens offer lawns, glasshouses and quiet paths for relaxed portraits.

Industrial character

Kelham Island and the old steelworks buildings around it have exposed brick, iron and canal-side corners that give a different look from a country house wedding. If you want your photos to feel like Sheffield, this is where I would take you.

The Peak District next door

Endcliffe Park and the woods to the west are a few minutes from the city, and further out the edges and moors above Hathersage and Ladybower are a short drive over the Derbyshire border. If you want a big landscape for twenty minutes of your day, it is easy to do.
